The Scottish SPCA is seeking to recruit a Content and Publications Coordinator to help deliver the Society’s ambitious strategy and vision.
This role is at the heart of the Scottish SPCA’s storytelling operation. Liaising with people on the frontline of animal rescue, you will work with them to bring to life truly amazing stories about the pets, wildlife, farmed animals and people the Society helps. You will be organised and motivated, thriving onhelping the whole marketing and communications team to effectively coordinate output across all of the Scottish SPCA’s channels. You will be one of the key custodians of the Scottish SPCA brand, ensuring all of our activity is in-line with it. You will also be responsible for the coordination and copy writing of key Society publications such as the annual impact report and stakeholder briefings.
We are seeking applicants who have demonstrable experience in a marketing or communications role, who have experience in content or news gathering and have experience in creating and delivering marketing assets. Applicants should also have good attention to detail, strong copywriting skills and be able to collaborate and work with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
A full UK manual driving licence is required.
The full-time role, based at the Society’s headquarters in Dunfermline, is 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday, with the opportunity to work from home. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required.
