Content Delivery & Distribution Assistant - Leading Family Entertainment Distributor

*** This role is London based, offering hybrid working and requires the candidate to be based in the UK ***

In this newly created role, you will provide support to the international sales and distribution team and more specifically to assist with, and take on when appropriate, Content Delivery and traffic tasks, maximising efficiency and productivity within the team and the wider company.

Interested candidates will ideally possess experience working within a broadcast or post production environment with a good working knowledge of video standards. Additionally, you will be highly organised and have the ability to deal with multiple projects and stakeholders.

Key tasks and responsibilities:

Sales & Distribution support:

• Gather distribution material from production and marketing departments.
• Keep records, tracking documents and dropbox/server folders up to date.
• Create Vimeo link for screening material including full screeners in all versions available.
• Uploading and updating marketing materials to virtual platforms as and when required.
• Do regular backup of working documents on server.

Contract servicing/Clients’ requests:

• Deliver material to clients and coordinate request with the post-production companies for relevant files’s spec.
• Follow up on delivery up to confirmation, acceptance and return of material when relevant.
• Maintain publicity pack (toolkits) and asset bank updated and, in a format, suitable for client delivery.
• Provide additional material/artwork to clients and answer any specific client request.
• Regular review of client’s websites with regards to the presence of our brands and suggest new material when necessary.

Material/Asset Bank:

• Track ingest of new assets on internal servers, Dropbox and various tracking documents, and provide the post-production companies with MLP asset IDs.
• Gather and update metadata.
• Source additional material from production or 3^rd party and keep up to date records of all material and location.
• Keep detailed records of physical and digital assets for all titles.

Dubbing/Subtitling:

• Coordinate and supervise the creation of local language titles with dubbing studios and/or broadcasters by liaising with them to provide all necessary materials.
• Track and record all relevant information from foreign version created by clients and maintain internal records with information and access conditions.
• Access local versions from clients/broadcasters as when required.
• Ensure all acquired local versions are stored at the post-production companies and screeners are uploaded on Vimeo.
• Access local language wordmarks from publishers and/or liaise with marketing for the creation of new ones.

Festivals:

• Maintain, update, and create film profiles on FilmFreeway.
• Coordinate the creation of video material to required spec with the post-production company.
• Keep up to date records of required festival material.

Screenings/Cinema:

• Coordinate the delivery and track the return of screening material. Liaise with post-production company on DCP mastering and archiving requests.
• Issue KDMs via post-production company portal for upcoming theatrical release.
• Coordinate the delivery of promotional material to cinema chains.
