My client is a very well-established specialist cladding and facades sub-contractor. They have been established for over 40 years with an excellent reputation in the marketplace. They are currently in the market for a Contracts Manager, to deliver projects from inception to completion on cladding and roofing projects worth up to £5 Million.
Currently seeking a Contract Manager with previous experience in management of cladding construction sites, roof sheets, wall cladding and rainscreen installation for 5 years or more.
Job Responsibilities
• Managing various aspects of roofing and cladding projects (around 4-6 at any one time of different values, between £10k to £5m), including all types of composites and built-up systems/rain screens.
• Liaising with the design team and discussing issues and amendments to drawings.
• Organising, supervising and training subcontractors and employed cladders on site.
• Arranging for subcontractors to price works and produce programmes.
• Scheduling materials.
• Producing RAMS.
• Producing daily and weekly progress and safety reports on various projects, and plant.
• Populating all relevant H&S, quality, progress and snagging etc.
Experience/Qualifications
• Experience in installing façade systems is ideal.
• Qualifications should include: CSCS Card (gold or black preferably), SMSTS, IPAF, First Aid, Forklift Training.
