The role of the Contracts Manager - Commercial Flooring will involve:
- Contracts Manager position overseeing various Commercial Flooring projects such as vinyl, laminate, wood, carpets and carpet tile
- Monitoring all site activity; organising all site workers, collating risk assessments and carrying out health and safety checks
- Organising the delivery of all materials that will be needed on site and ensuring they arrive on time
- Ensure projects are running smoothly and ensuring that project deadlines are adhered to, whilst maintaining project cost plans
- Liaising with clients and providing project reports
- Attending pre-contract meetings and progress meetings with clients
- Reporting project status to the Managing Director
- Managing projects ranging in value from £500 to £250k
The ideal applicant will be a Contracts Manager - Commercial Flooring with:
- Must have Contract Management within the Commercial Flooring or related market sector Ideally will have sound technical knowledge of the flooring market sector vinyl, laminate, wood, carpets and carpet tile
- Must hold CSCS Gold or Black card & SSSTS
- Full UK driving license
- Must have excellent communication skills across all levels both written and verbal
- Professional and highly organised
- Computer literate (Microsoft Office)
