The focus of this Contract Manager role is to manage multiple contracts, develop strong client relationships and ensure both company goals and those of its clients are achieved, delivering excellent service that represents value for money for our clients and delivers meaningful revenues to the company.

Main Responsibilities of the Contract Manager
- Day-to-day management of client support and requests. Support and proactively assign work to the support team to cover all client requirements
- Act as a conduit between the customer and key internal functions (operations, finance, IT, and carrier management)
- Collate and present client invoices to the Senior Contract Manager for final sign-off
- Understand contractual commitments, rates, SLAs, and customer requirements and monitor company performance against agreed SLAs
- Be an escalation point for issues, incidents, and staff concerns
- Liaise with the managers of other departments to ensure operational objectives are met. Review service performance and implement improvement plans
- Facilitate regular client reviews
- Coordinate changes to client pricing e.g. NLW, carrier price reviews, and supplier price changes
- Review client financial performance in line with budget
- Investigate and analyse stock queries and transactional history to feed back the results of the stock investigation to the client
- Involved in revenue assurance, credit control, pre-sales consultancy and feasibility studies
- Support significant business change; involved with programme & project management
Required Knowledge and Skills
- Able to build productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders/customers
- Be the face of the business, a strong advocate for the company and its values, with a professional and courteous approach at all times
- A confident communicator with highly developed oral and written communication skills
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in standard Office applications e.g. Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- A broad range of organisational skills and ideally experience in project management
- Methodical, task-oriented, and focused with good attention to detail
- A flexible approach to an ever-changing environment with a can-do attitude
- Ability to think outside of the box and generate new and innovative solutions to customer requirements and operations
- Objective, fact-based decision-making using data and demonstrable evidence
- Able to provide clear, concise instructions to others

Additional Information
- Monday - Friday 37.5 hours a week.
- As part of this role you may have to travel to other depots.
- Occasional weekend work may be required.
Essential Skills
- At least five years of experience in a client-facing environment as an account manager, client relationship manager, partner manager, business development manager, or similar.
- Relevant experience in e-commerce, fulfilment, third-party logistics, warehousing, and distribution.
- Demonstrable experience in managing accounts providing annual revenues in excess of £1,000,000.
- A full range of account management experience including customer service, performance monitoring, management reporting, trend analysis, invoicing, credit control, and leading client review meetings.
- Experience in providing support and training for other team members.
