Contracts Assistant
We have a fantastic opportunity available for a Contracts Assistant to join our friendly team, working within the Strategy, Commissioning and Performance Service on a full time, permanent basis.
As the Contracts Assistant, you will provide contracting and administrative support to maintain effective contract management processes, including acting as the main point of contact for the service, providing a responsive and efficient support function to internal and external customers.
You will be working with the Senior Contract Manager and Contract Officers to support Adult and Children's Services. Our aim is to deliver better outcomes for people, improved value for money, and a sustainable high quality services for the people of the borough of Wokingham, in line with our strategic priorities set out in our key strategies.
Hybrid Working - This is a hybrid role that allows you to work from home and attend the office as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
Serving as the main point of contact for the Strategy and Commissioning Service, on the phone, in person and via email, including managing the team mailbox. Manage responses to routine enquiries and requests for information. Work closely with the Contracts Officers to support with contract administration duties, including pre-contract checks, maintaining records, and filing systems. Write and distribute email, correspondence, and forms to external customers. Maintain contact lists for providers and other internal and external key contacts. Administrative support for meetings, including scheduling, preparing agendas and minute taking for meetings with internal and external customers and colleagues. Candidate Requirements:
GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent) Strong teamwork and communication skills Excellent time management Confident in using Microsoft office applications including, Word, Teams & Outlook Familiar with contract management systems Customer Service experience is desirable For an informal chat about the role please contact Ash Mazarei (Senior Contract Manager) via email
