An excellent opportunity has arisen to work for our established client in Reading as a Contracts Assistant to work in in their busy construction company. Ideally you will have some interest in this industry and any CAD skills would be welcome. However, most important is an organised administrator who will take pride in completing routine tasks in a diligent manner.
Working hours are Monday - Friday, 7:30AM - 4:30PM. Hybrid working available!
As the CAD Assistant you will be responsible for:
- Creating documents from latest drawings for each project
- Conducting simple survey and drawing checks
- Upload drawings onto customer portals
- Assist in marking up 2D drawings
- Creating drawings and schedules for shipping
- Converting BOM's into a useable format

The successful CAD Technician will have the following related skills / experience:
- Strong IT and Excel experience
- Previous experience in a construction / design role would be beneficial but not essential
- Auto CAD / Inventor / Solid Works / Solid Edge / CAD experience useful but not essential
- Good numerical skills
