Contracts Manager (Hard Fm)

Acorn is working in partnership with a national M&E contractor who is currently seeking a Contracts Manager ( Hard FM ) based in Newport / South West

About the role:

They are looking to take on board a Contracts Manager to cover locations between Newport and Plymouth

Candidate:

They are looking for a candidate that is motivated, resourceful, diligent and professional. You will build relationships at all levels and have a wide spectrum of skills and experience. Highly organised and skilled negotiator, you will know what excellent FM contracts like and pay attention to detail.

Biased towards hard FM and M&E, you will be able to demonstrate your experience of project management and have knowledge of regulatory frameworks, current legislation and industry guidelines.

About the role:

• Establish and maintain relationships by serving as a single point of contact for contractual matters
• Deliver comprehensive management information & reporting for key stakeholders across the business
• Oversee the contract life for all FM contracts
• Influence the strategic direction of FM using your experience to innovate and introduce new systems and technologies
• Support locations technical teams as they manage day to day building / engineering issues and maintain an active approach to cost, quality and risk

Qualifications & Experience

Essential

• Good level of education, preferable to degree level or equivalent
• Hard services ( M&E ) biased
• Ideally 5 to 10 years relevant FM management experience
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• In depth understanding of contract management and administration
• A relevant health and safety qualification ( IOSH / NEBOSH preferred )

Desirable

• Proven track record of delivering complex contract tenders
• Conversant with prevailing industry guidance and legislation
• BIFM / IWFM / RICS accredited / qualified
