Are you an experienced Construction Contracts Manager with a strong background in main contracting and a passion for overseeing new build projects? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you. We are working on behalf of a reputable construction main contractor in Scotland, and we are looking for a dynamic and results-driven individual to join their team as a Construction Contracts Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of construction contracts, from inception to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Oversee and coordinate multiple new build projects across various sites in Scotland, while efficiently managing available resources.
- Collaborate with project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project goals and milestones are met.
- Implement effective contract management processes, including risk assessment, change order management, and project documentation.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction and project success.
- Monitor and report project progress, financial performance, and potential issues to senior management.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience as a Construction Contracts Manager within the main contracting sector.
- Strong knowledge of the construction industry, including a track record of successful new build projects.
- A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Willingness to travel to various sites across Scotland as required.
