Contracts Specialist Manager
Salary: £25,000 - £33,000 per annum
Location: Hybrid Working (Newcastle HQ)
Our client is a fast-growing software business that has embarked on significant growth to become the market leader in their sector, developing industry leading SaaS solutions, via a blended approach of both acquisition and organic growth. Investment in late 2021 has provided the platform for them to both consolidate their position as the leading UK provider and also grow aggressively in Europe.
As the Contracts Specialist Manager, a newly created role, you will be a key part of the Customer Success team, owning all areas around customer contracts. You will be responsible for data analysis, order processing, contract renewals and amends, resolving questions from customers, driving continual improvements to processes and sharing best practice across functions.
The Role:
- 'Link’ Sales, Marketing, Customer Success and Finance functions creating continuity and insight via data analysis and report creation
- Support the Customer Success Managers with order processing, contract renewals and contract amends
- Lead churn and amendment meetings with the Customer Success team
- Analyse contract information to pro-actively identify both potential issues and revenue opportunities
- Be the first point of contact in addressing customer queries relating to contracts and/or invoicing issues
- Prepare reports around key revenue metrics for the existing customer base
- Provide data, reporting and trend analysis related to forecast customer attrition
The Person:
- Degree calibre or equivalent, ideally with 1-3 years’ work experience
- Demonstrate expertise in reporting and data analysis, using data analysis tools
- Comfortable engaging directly with customers to resolve their (non-legal) contract queries
- Ideally with Salesforce exposure, although not essential, but must be comfortable learning new applications
- Highly effective user of MS suite of tools.
- Collaborate and communicate well within a team, cross functionally and to an external audience
- An inquisitive mindset allied with a strong problem solving mentality
