LGC is a global leader in the life sciences sector, and we are growing our sales and distribution operations in the UK, Ireland, and other regions within EMEA. We are looking for a dedicated Sales Specialist to join our team and support our diverse and innovative product portfolio.
What You’ll Do:
As a Sales Specialist, you will:
- Drive Sales: Increase sales by engaging with both internal and external customers, supporting our Core ATCC Team and Field Sales Personnel (FAS) to achieve annual targets.
- Handle Enquiries: Manage and complete enquiries from all channels and product/business sectors, ensuring high levels of customer happiness.
- Produce Quotations: Create and follow up on quotations, ensuring timely and accurate responses to increase conversion rates.
- Technical Support: Provide first-level technical support on enquiries, raising when necessary.
- Collaborate: Work closely with internal teams to gather information and complete tender documents, ensuring compliance and meeting customer needs.
- Customer Focus: Understand and respond to customer needs, upselling opportunities, and handling service levels for key and growth customers.
- Support Events: Assist Technical Sales Specialists at exhibitions, seminars, and other events.
- Use Tools Effectively: Apply systems like IFS/ERP, Salesforce, and other tools to support sales efforts.
