We are looking for a Control Room Operative to join us at our client site in London, one of the world's biggest tech companies based in King's Cross. The Control Room Operative will will monitor, respond and escalate on incidents and issues presenting potential impacts to business & personnel. You will manage and operate client technical security and monitoring systems. Reporting to the Security Service Centre Manager, you will perform monitoring and support for business travel, events, intelligence gathering and monitoring and utilise the clients ticketing systems for incident and fault reporting. Youwill also be responsible for the overall operation and client experience provided by the country security operations centre. The position will support a 24/7 Bronze (operational) cover within the security operation centre's incident management structure, referred to as “Gold-Silver-Bronze (Strategic-Tactical-Operational) Command.

A typical day in the life as a Control Room Operative
- Operate as an information nexus for our client and their business and the Security team
- Intelligence monitoring, gathering & analysis from open source, to support the client's intelligence analysis staffing and capability.
- Travel risk support will be provided through monitoring of business travel, travellers and stay provisions. Monitoring of international intelligence and provision ‘intel' to allow the client's business to respond accordingly
- Technical system operation and will be done through the use of Vantage, FLIR & C-Cure systems to provide alarm monitoring and response
What are we looking for?

- DS SIA Licence
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a Control Room/SOC/GSOC/SSC/RSOC environment or any ‘blue lights' Control Room environment
- Experience in successfully operating as part of a UK Emergency Services Control Room environment
- Experience in managing incidents with multi agency involvement
