WHAT TO EXPECT
We are currently hiring for a Control System Project Delivery Engineer to join the team here at JLR. In this position, you will manage and coordinate all activities between project stakeholders, including Development, Testing, and Validations, with particular focus on resource planning, issue management, and issue resolution. You will also be responsible for securing on time releases for all vehicle project applications.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
Manage communication of programme status and timings
Coordinate daily activities to deliver all application projects
Manage programme requirements, evaluate resource impacts and build plan accordingly
Lead calibration and controls issues resolutions
Maintain project plans, resource usage trackers, reporting project status and project pack
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
In order to be considered for this position, you will need to had a substantial degree of software awareness, specifically regarding change control management. You are also more likely to be considered if you have higher level project lead experience, with emphasis on the planning side of things rather than just doing. Automotive experience is preferable but not essential, as is previous experience in Powertrain Calibration and Control.
Essential:
Capability of cross functional co-ordination and management.
Relevant degree or equivalent experience preferred.
Project Management of complex projects, interacting with diverse cross-functional teams
Issue resolution methodology.
Delivery of Engineering and or analytical projects preferably within the automotive industry.
