Wärtsilä Gas Solutions is a global business unit within the Marine Systems division, with people located in different locations such as Norway, Poland, UK, France, Finland and China. The business unit has end-to-end responsibility from Sales through to commissioning of completed systems.
Wärtsilä Gas Solutions offers systems and solutions related a number of oil & within the gas segments. The scope includes marine LNG and LPG cargo systems, fuel gas systems for marine vessels, onshore gas terminals and biogas systems.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
Ensure Control Systems Hardware delivery in projects
Design and develop hardware solutions for Gas Solutions Control Systems
Supervise and follow up cabinet assembly
Take part in testing of own scope of delivery at supplier’s premises
Develop / Maintain EPLAN master data.
Qualifications:
Higher technical education (min. Bachelor) in automation and/or electrical engineering
Basic to advanced experience in use of EPLAN Electric P8
Good understanding of hardware system design
Fluent English language skills, both verbally and written
Preferred qualifications:
Basic knowledge within Ex equipment and standards
Experience and knowledge of automation design according to marine standards
Knowledge about process instrumentation
Experience with testing and commissioning
