If you are an experienced Controls/Automation or Electrical Engineer, looking to join a blue-chip company, supplying major household products to all the major UK supermarkets, then please apply below!
Role & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for all controls & automation systems on site
- Design, write, manage, upload & download software to PLC's & robotics
- Electrical & electronic testing, inspection & repair of control panels
- Build new machinery and modify/improve existing machinery
- Modification of PLC's input/output programming.
- Able to fault diagnose multiple PLC platforms and generate and develop their own Code.
- Building electrical control systems (switchgear to software)
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Must be an experienced controls / automation / PLC engineer
- Ideally have worked in food / FMCG / Pharma manufacturing background
- Writing PLC code projects from scratch
- Worked with Siemens PLC's
- Engineering apprenticeship and associated qualifications such as BTEC ONC, HNC, HND in Electrical
