A rare and unique opportunity has arisen for a residential conveyancer to build and develop a conveyancing offering within the office of a leading regional firm. The firm has a conveyancing department across other offices but is now keen to build its presence in Stoke. This is a full-time (4 days considered) permanent position with potential for hybrid working.
The Firm/The Team
- The firm itself is a leading law firm with a fantastic reputation. They have a branch office in Stoke which predominantly focuses on other disciplines to include child care and crime, and with incoming conveyancing instructions they recognise the opportunity for a conveyancer to be based there permanently.
- The wider conveyancing team is spread across other office with the head of the department being based in their Derby office.
The Role
- This role offers a residential conveyancer plenty of autonomy. It requires the ability to grow and develop a residential conveyancing department within one of the firm’s smaller offices. This will require managing new instructions, business development and working with the existing conveyancing team across other offices. There may be some management responsibilities involved in the role.
The Person
- To be considered for this residential conveyancer role you will be a qualified solicitor, legal executive, or licensed conveyancer
- You will have at least 5 years’ experience running your own caseload
- A proven track record of building, winning, and developing work
- Potential to bring work with you (advantageous)
- A people person but with the ability to work autonomously with lack of significant supervision
On Offer
On offer is hybrid working, on site free car parking, a real career opportunity for a conveyancer looking for the next step in their career along with plenty of autonomy.
