Conveyancer

Total Staff Services are currently recruiting for a Conveyancer for one of our clients based in Birkenhead. Key tasks in this position include undertaking all aspects of the conveyancing process, supervising and delegating work to the Conveyancing Assistants.

Salary:

Conveyancer: 32,000 P/A to 34,000 P/A depending on experience.

Senior Conveyancer: 34,000 P/A to 38,000 P/A depending on experience.

Shifts: (Apply online only), Monday to Friday.

Job Responsibilities:

Conveyancer Level:

• Thorough knowledge and experience of dealing with all aspects of Conveyancing.
• Work with and under the supervision of a Senior Conveyancer.
• Deal with residential conveyancing transactions from start to finish acting for both private clients and limited companies.
• Deal with various transactions including Freehold, Leasehold, New Build, Shared Ownership, Help to Buy and Non-Statutory Lease Extensions.
• Responsible for signing off files for exchange and completion.
• Working with the Senior Conveyancer to achieve financial targets set for the year.
• Help supervise and develop the Conveyancing Assistant in the team.
• Take over full responsibility for the team in the Senior Conveyancer's absence.
• Act honestly and diligently at all times and abide by the relevant professional codes of conduct that may from time to time be in force.

Senior Conveyancer Level:

• Extensive knowledge and experience of dealing with all aspects of Conveyancer level.
• Head up a Team of 3, working with and supervising a Conveyancer and Conveyancing Assistant.
• Responsible for allocation of work within the team.
• Responsible for all files opened under their name, for completions and achieving financial targets set for the year.
• Responsible for development and progression of the Conveyancer and Conveyancing Assistant.
• Awareness and involvement of business development.
• Identify training needs within the team.
