Cook - Foyle

Temporary Cook immediately required for a Nursing Home in the Foyle area. This post will last a minimum of 3 months with the opportunity to be made permanent.

This post is a full-time role working 5 days out of 7 on a rotational basis with shifts being 8am – 5pm. We will pay you £14.00 per hour Monday to Friday, £16.00 per hour on a Saturday and £18.00 per hour on a Sunday.

You will be required to plan menus, prepare and cook meals. You will also be required to order stock, maintain records and follow all food hygiene guidelines. If these hours above do not suit you but you would be interested in picking up a few days, just let us know what you are available to work, and we work around you! Shifts available until the end of summer perfect for anyone working part-time or looking to earn extra money coming up to summer. (Must be 18 due to insurance and working environment and willingness to complete an enhanced AccessNI check)

Essential Criteria:

• Basic Food Hygiene Certificate

• Previous experience as a Cook

• Knowledge of different dietary requirements

• Flexible with the ability to work weekends

• Willingness to undergo an Access NI check
