We’re searching for an enthusiastic and inventive Cook to whip up delectable dishes and sweet treats, as well as to craft refreshing smoothies, all while ensuring our young people have an unforgettable culinary experience.

Job Position: Cook

Location: The Hive Youth Zone

Hours: A minimum of 8 hours per week

Working Hours: Sundays 10.30am-7.00pm

At The Hive, we are more than just a Youth Zone; we are a buzzing hub of activity and fun! We provide a welcoming space for young people to learn, grow, and connect. Our kitchen is at the heart of the action, where we believe in turning meals into memorable moments.

Your Role at The Hive:

As a Cook at The Hive, you will have the opportunity to blend your culinary expertise with your inventiveness to create delicious and engaging food experiences for our members. Your role will include:

• Preparing a range of scrumptious dishes that cater to various tastes and dietary needs.
• Crafting delightful sweet treats that put smiles on our young people’s faces.
• Innovating with exciting smoothie recipes that are both nutritious and mouthwatering.

What We’re Looking For:

To succeed in this role, you should have:

• Previous cookery experience in a similar role.
• Availability to work each Sunday 10.30am-7.00pm
• A passion for cooking and a flair for creativity.
• An understanding of the unique tastes and preferences of young people.
• A positive and fun attitude to create a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere in the kitchen.
• An enhanced DBS that covers children on the update service (we can apply for this for the successful candidate).
