Job description

Join our esteemed Yacht Building client as an Environmental Health & Safety Coordinator, where you'll spearhead their commitment to excellence in a dynamic setting. We're seeking a proactive individual to ensure our client's operations meet and exceed industry standards while staying true to their core values.
Responsibilities:

  • Lead the daily development of our client's Health & Safety strategy and procedures, offering technical expertise and guidance across all levels of their organization.
  • Cultivate stakeholder engagement to foster a positive EHS culture, yielding tangible benefits.
  • Champion effective strategies, plans, and processes aimed at achieving our client's long-term H&S objectives.
  • Collaborate closely with senior management to reinforce proactive measures in identifying, managing, and mitigating risks throughout their operations.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of accident and near-miss data to generate actionable insights and comprehensive reports.
  • Monitor the progress of Concern & Corrective Action Reports, ensuring timely resolution.
This pivotal role demands familiarity with Health & Safety management systems. While primarily office-based, you'll spend 50% of your time on the shop floor, with occasional visits to other sites.
