The opportunity:

A corporate and fund services firm are searching for a Corporate Accounting Manager to join their team in London in leading one of their accounting teams. This is a well-established firm in the market with offices overseas. Their global presence makes them a reputable and exciting firm to join, as they are looking to expand in their London office to drive their future plans. Best suited for someone with both practice and corporate services experience, this is a great opportunity for someone looking to move into an Associate Director position in the near future.

Duties:

• Attend management meetings to propose efficiency improvements for the company,
• Oversee a team of accountants.
• Manage day-to-day administration for a complex portfolio of companies.
• Hold overall responsibility for the team's entities and handle complex cases.
• Monitor control checklists for accounts, billing, and reviews, ensuring monthly billing targets are met.
• Supervise time charging targets, write-offs, and fee invoices, and review team outgoings.
• Conduct Performance & Development Reviews, provide cover in the absence of the Director/Associate Director.

Profile:

• ACA or ACCA qualified with 2-5 years PQE.
• Experienced in Financial Reporting (FRS 102/IFRS)
• Excellent knowledge of VAT and Corporation Tax.
• Experience working with FCA regulated clients - bonus for real estate.
• Company Secretarial/Governance exposure.
• CIS knowledge would be a plus.
• Experience managing teams.
