A specialist financial services business will be appointing a Senior Corporate Tax Manager as a part of a mid-sized tax team.
Reporting directly to the Head of Tax, additional key stakeholders will include finance, legal and commerical teams, in addition to managing relations with external advisors and tax authorities. The successful candidate will focus primarily on Corporate Tax compliance and reporting, however also some broader tax responsibilities and supporting with tax advisory and projects.
We anticipate this opportunity will best suit the experienced Senior Manager with a solid tax compliance and reporting background, interested to advance their in-house career to a leadership position.
The successful candidate
- ACA/CTA qualification essential
- Solid grounding in UK corporation tax
- Strong knowledge/experience of tax accounting/reporting (IFRS, UK/US GAAPs)
- A proven background in the financial services
- Prior experience with broader taxes considered advantageous
- Prior people management experience looked upon favourably
- The right to work permanently in the UK is required
