About the role
As a Corporate Business Development Executive (BDE) at Giant, you will play a crucial role in driving our corporate growth strategy. You will be responsible for booking face to face and video meetings with corporates to create new business opportunities for the group to sell our full range of Giant’s services to them to assist them in managing their contingent workforce more efficiently.
To achieve this, you will work closely with the Group Sales Director and marketing department to generate sales opportunities predominantly by phone calls, emails as well as using messaging via LinkedIn, Sales Navigator and HubSpot.
Your ultimate objective is to ensure we are generating a targeted volume of qualified sales enquiries to enable us to close a pipeline of opportunities to achieve the revenue and profit targets for the business. This is a Business Development role where leads will be generated both for you by Giant, and by you.
Key responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to
- Business Development Strategy: Working with the Group Sales Director you will execute a Corporate Business Development strategy that aligns with the company's client acquisition goals and revenues objectives. This will be delivered by direct sales activity predominantly via phone calls and emails to generate meetings with potential customers.
- Client Acquisition: Identify and target new corporate clients, leveraging market research and networking to generate leads and opportunities. Regularly review Giant’s existing corporate clients to identify cross sell opportunities. Ensure consistent and thorough follow-up of all marketing generated leads to create sales meeting opportunities.
- Reporting and Analytics: Maintain accurate records of Business Development activities and provide regular reports to senior management using the sales CRM HubSpot.
- Compliance: Ensure all Business Development activities comply with industry regulations and company policies.
Skills and experience required.
Ideally, you will be educated to a degree level or equivalent with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in selling business to business services with appropriate training. You will be able to demonstrate an ability to win new business and consistently achieve sales targets and activity KPI’s.
You have an ambition to progress into a senior sales role, a high level of resilience, strong written and verbal communication, and emotional intelligence.
- Experience in delivering against activity based KPI’s with a strong focus on data accuracy.
- Proficient in Microsoft office,
