CPL are currently working closely with a leading distribution company in the County Antrim area to recruit an ambitious, self-motivated Business Development Executive on a full time, permanent basis.
You will develop into a key role across companies within the Group who have a long-established presence in their space and who operate across Ireland, UK & Europe
Most importantly you will join a thriving business that retains its family feel throughout.
The role;
- Conduct thorough research to uncover new sales opportunities within your assigned territory, ensuring a consistent and robust pipeline of potential clients.
- Identify prospective customers and key decision-makers within their organisations.
- Develop new business opportunities within the Northern Irish to ROI & UK Mainland Market, with the objective being to improve and grow the organization’s volumes through new business.
- Prepare and present quotations/ proposals to prospective clients.
- Gain a comprehensive understanding of other services offered within the Group to facilitate effective cross-selling.
- Collaborate with Operations and Customer Service teams to seamlessly integrate new business into our network.
- Participate in relevant exhibitions, trade shows, and industry networking events as necessary.
- Monitor and document the activities of new accounts, submit weekly sales reports, and actively engage in Group sales meetings.
What we are looking for;
- Experience in a Pallet Network / Pallet Distribution background preferred but not essential as full training and handover will be given.
- Candidates should possess a strong sales background with excellent relationship development skills and a professional and methodical approach to their workload.
- Strong presentation, communication, IT and administrative Skills.
- Effective planning and attention to detail is a must for this role.
