Title: Business Development Executive (Internal)
Location: Belfast area
Duration: Permanent,
Hours: Full Time, Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm
Salary: £24k-£26k, depending on experience, with a commission scheme offering an OTE of up to £39k.
Apple Recruitment are delighted to be working with our client, a Northern Ireland based organisation that has been operating for over 40 years in a sector that has been continuing its growth in the last few years. We are seeking a Business Development Executive (Internal), who will also be part of generating new business opportunities (leads) to support new business growth targets for the successful account executive team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual with an engaging personality, who enjoys developing relationships and maintaining these relationships. The Business Development Executive (Internal) will play a vital role in engaging prospect through creating and optimising campaigns and identifying new market verticals through research.
You will work closely with the relevant team and Account Executives, using strong communication skills engaging in meaningful discussions with the team and clients, handling objections as needed. You will strive to achieve a minimum targeted activity on a weekly and monthly basis, and going the extra mile to over achieve these.
You will work as part of a team as well as independently and will be required to document plans and activities in the CRM system and so, being computer literate will benefit you in this role. You will also be required to map and engage prospective accounts’ organisational structure, people and existing technologies.
You will need:
- At least 2 years’ experience working within sales and lead generation.
- At least one year experience of successful outbound sales and lead generation for new business in the B2B marketplace.
- Ability to prioritise potential customers within a large and competitive market.
- Ability to multitask, prioritise and manage time effectively.
- Enjoy learning, be driven and determined to over achieve against targets and objectives.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written.
