THE ROLE
A junior to mid Level lawyer is sought by the Financial Institutions Group
This team represents insurance and reinsurance companies and their financial advisors and underwriters in a wide variety of transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, reinsurances, portfolio transfers, public and private financings, regulatory advisory work, restructurings and reorganisations.
The firm has a particularly strong financial sponsor practice in the insurance space and an unrivalled position in Bermuda.
The firm represents all parties - purchasers, sellers, target companies, cedants, reinsurers and their boards of directors/management, as well as investment banking firms, financial advisors and financial sponsors.
THE CANDIDATE
Ideally with 2-4pqe in the London market, acting for a wide range of financial institutions.
Those with less or more relevant experience will be considered on their merits.
The successful individual will have excellent written and verbal communication and as well as enthusiasm, drive and the ability to demonstrate initiative. A high level of academic achievement is required.
