Corporate Paralegal

Ryder Reid Legal is working exclusively with a US law firm to recruit a Legal Assistant to join its London office on a permanent basis.
This is a sole Legal Assistant role supporting the firms corporate team, replacing someone who will be leaving the firm in May. The successful candidate will predominately be working on US matters, alongside attorneys based in the States.

Some of the duties will involve:

• Assisting with due diligence matters by organising and reviewing documents
• Assisting lawyers and transaction working groups at financial printers
• Revising, proofreading and distributing draft agreements and other transactional documents
• Assisting lawyers at transaction pre-closings and closings
• Handling post-closing matters including the preparation of bound volumes
• Coordinating filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission and with stock exchanges
• Gathering, organizing and maintaining precedent collections

This is a great role for a Paralegal with 12 months previous corporate experience, to gain US experience and work at trainee level.

The salary on offer is £40K plus overtime, and the hours are 9.30-5.30pm Monday-Friday with overtime required in line with business needs. The firms hybrid policy is 4 days in and 1 day from home.
