Corporate Partnerships Officer

Article 25 is looking for an experienced, proactive and ambitious Corporate Partnerships Lead to grow and manage our More Than a Building network.

Article 25 improves access to healthcare, education and shelter across the Global South, by deploying our professional skills as architects and project managers. We design and construct high-quality hospitals, schools and homes in the places that need them most. To date we have completed over 100 projects in over 35 countries.

More Than a Building is a network of companies working across the built environment who support Article 25  - both financially and with pro-bono expertise on our construction projects.

More Than a Building is a vibrant and growing network, which includes some of the biggest companies working across construction. The Corporate Partnerships Lead will be responsible for growing this network, exceptional stewardship of existing members and ensuing More Than a Building builds a reputation as one of the finest networking communities to join – across the built environment.

Key Responsibilities:

·         Grow our portfolio of More Than a Building (MTAB) members, by securing partnerships with companies operating across construction

·         Provide excellent relationship management to our existing portfolio of members

·         Create and manage the content for our monthly More Than a Building e-communications

·         Manage two special events annually for MTAB

·         Monitor, evaluate and report on progress and engagement, using Donorfy CRM to track corporate activity and ensure all records are up to date.

·         Work closely with the CEO in identifying new prospects and undertaking research in this respect

·         Work across the wider Article 25 staff team to promote More Than a Building, and employ innovative ways of doing this

·         Work with the CEO and communications team to build the More Than a Building brand.

·         Explore additional fundraising opportunities with corporate donors, including payroll giving, match fundraising campaign and ad-hoc fundraisers where appropriate

·         Manage and oversee joint communications and PR opportunities with More Than a Building members – and working with the CEO and PR, secure positive trade press promoting member benefits

·         Ensure all member benefits are communicated with members and ensure MTAB members get brilliant value for their membership, maintaining membership year on year

·         Manage the annual CPD calendar, publicise these to members and manage sign ups for these

·         Work closely with the CEO on promotions, public relations, publicity and advertising for More Than a Building

Skills and Experience:

·         A successful track record of new business acquisition or corporate fundraising

·         A track record of producing and delivering successful corporate fundraising programmes

·         Experience of identifying prospects and securing new partnerships

·         Experience of working with high level stakeholders (The Board of Trustees and Senior Leaders) to leverage network and connections, and confidence in ‘managing up’

·         Experience of writing compelling corporate fundraising copy across media (social media/ website/publications etc.)

·         Experience of meeting and exceeding fundraising targets

·         Confident multi-tasking and managing multiple priorities

·         Confident in writing and presenting corporate fundraising pitches

·         Knowledge of UK fundraising regulation and the rules surrounding GDPR

·         Ability to network confidently with people in senior positions

·         Able to operate independently, demonstrating a high level of initiative

·         Ability to motivate and enthuse others
