Job Description - Corporate Tax Assistant Manager
- Prepare and review complex tax returns and reports, ( including transfer pricing & corporate interest restrictions )
- Corporate tax compliance for portfolio of large SME clients with turnovers well above the audit threshold
- Ensure compliance with HMRC regulations and guidelines
- Lead and develop a team of tax professionals
- Identify opportunities for process improvements within the tax department
- Keep up-to-date with the latest changes in tax legislation and industry trends
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
Profile
A successful Corporate Tax Assistant Manager should have:
- Professional qualification (CTA/ATT/ACA/ACCA)
- Proven experience in a similar role within an accountancy practice
- Strong knowledge of UK Corporate Tax laws and HMRC regulations
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex tax concepts in a clear and concise manner
- Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
