Job Description
- Assist in managing the Corporate Tax compliance process for a portfolio of clients.
- Conduct tax research and planning for clients.
- Support in the preparation of tax returns and computations.
- Assist in the development of tax strategies for clients.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in tax law and regulations.
- Liaise with clients and HMRC on tax-related issues.
- Support in tax advisory projects.
- Contribute to team meetings and support the development of junior team members.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Corporate Tax Assistant Manager should have:
- UK Tax Experience;
- Technical competence in preparing and delivering Corporate Tax advisory and compliance tasks;
- Strong project management skills;
- A desire to support, mentor, and develop junior colleagues;
- CTA and / or ACA qualified is preferred, or working towards this. Qualified by experience will also be considered.
