Cost Engineering Consultant

My client are We are a specialist and rapidly growing, award winning UK Defence consultancy. They also operate in the nuclear, space, transport, energy, logistics, and environmental sectors of the UK.
 
Due to continued growth they are seeking an Cost Engineering Consultant.
 
The Purpose of the Cost Engineering Consultant role is to provide the cost estimates and engineering support to help the UK MOD and industry make better decisions. This may be working autonomously within customer teams to support business cases with analytical thinking and outcomes, estimating of procurement and in-service costs, or leading workshops with customers and Subject Matter Experts to improve accuracy and understanding of project costs

To be suitable for this role you will:

• Experience of collecting, collating and interpreting cost data from previous projects, supplier estimates, internal experts and published sources.
• Familiarity and confidence in using spreadsheets to create basic and complex cost estimating models.
• A good understanding of the principles, guidelines and methods used in the cost analysis of equipment, systems and capabilities.
• Experience of analysing cost data and providing support to business cases

 
Role: Senior Cost Consultant
UK Wide (Hybrid/Home working will be offered)
