SalaryOn behalf of a distribution client in Thatcham, M4 Recruitment are seeking Counterbalance Forklift drivers for an immediate start in a temporary to permanent position.
As a Reach and Counterbalance Forklift driver, your main duties would be as follows:
- Operating the Counterbalance forklift: moving Pallets, loading and unloading of the Lorries.
- Picking carpet rolls with the use of the Counterbalance Forklift
- Assisting other crews to complete work when requested to do so.
- Stacking shelves with the use of the Counterbalance Forklift
- Ensuring that you maintain a courteous and professional demeanour at all times your colleagues and management team.
- Undertaking ad-hoc duties as required to maintain a safe, clean working environment and service to our customers.

To be a successful applicant for this Counterbalance Forklift driver role, you will be required to have the following skills / experiences:
- Have a Counterbalance forklift license or an in house certificate
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with colleagues
- A team player
- Reliable, punctual
- The ability to follow detailed processes to ensure the Health and Safety procedures are followed.
- Be comfortable working with a wide range of people and have the ability to be a good ambassador for the contract and business in all interactions.
Public transport is available for this location
Shift pattern: Monday - Friday, earliest start 7am.
Pay is £12.00 per hour.
