SalaryJob Description: We are currently seeking a skilled Counterbalance Forklift Driver who will also be responsible for warehouse duties. The primary task will be operating a Counterbalance Forklift to handle heavy bathroom equipment. In addition to forklift operations, the role will involve various warehouse tasks to ensure the smooth functioning of operations.
Responsibilities:
- Operate a Counterbalance Forklift to safely transport heavy bathroom equipment within the warehouse.
- Conduct pre-operational checks on the forklift to ensure its proper functioning.
- Load and unload materials from trucks using the forklift in a safe and efficient manner.
- Assist with receiving, storing, and organising bathroom equipment in designated warehouse locations.
- Perform general warehouse duties such as picking, packing, and stock replenishment.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the warehouse environment.
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate tasks and workflow.
- Follow company policies and guidelines to ensure compliance with operational standards.
- Ability to work shift times, with start times from 15:00 to 12:00.
Requirements:
- Valid certification to operate a Counterbalance Forklift.
- Proven experience in operating a Counterbalance Forklift, preferably in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and procedures.
- Physical strength and stamina to handle heavy bathroom equipment.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in performing tasks.
- Excellent coordination and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
- Flexibility to work shifts.
