The Role

We are seeking to recruit an experienced and enthusiastic paralegal to join our well-established team, The focus of the role will be to assist senior fee earners in all types of Court of Protection casework. Previous experience of working within Court of Protection would be ideal.

The Court of Protection Paralegal will handle a range of work and responsibilities including:

• Assist in managing Court of Protection cases, including the preparation and submission of applications.
• Draft and prepare legal documents, correspondence, and reports
• Communicate with clients, medical professionals, and other third parties to gather necessary information and documentation.
• Maintain and update case files, ensuring all information is accurate and current.
• Support solicitors in preparing for hearings and meetings.
• Conduct legal research and keep abreast of relevant laws and regulations.
• Provide compassionate and professional assistance to clients and their families.

To be successful in applying for this role, you must possess excellent client care skills and you need to be technically strong with an eye for detail as the role heavily relies on data checking and inputting. You must have the ability to communicate effectively. You must also be reliable, organised, able to work in a busy environment, possess excellent time management and interpersonal skills.
