SalaryThis is a newly created role at a leading Legal 50 UK & International law firm, for a specialist Court of Protection Solicitor (NQ-3 years PQE) to join and be part of a recognised department.
You will have the autonomy to handle a complex and rewarding broad caseload ranging of issues arising from catastrophic personal injury, including serious brain injury with high value compensation awards in a role where you will assist individuals, families, carers, trustees and other professionals. The COP work includes financial management, welfare matters such as care funding, welfare benefits, deprivation of liberty special education and issues relating to capacity.
Your role as COP Solicitor will involve:
- Hybrid working on offer to all staff
- Preparing court applications (financial and welfare deputyship orders)
- Ongoing career development, support and training
- Personal injury trusts
- Be active in business development in gaining new clients and grow your own caseload
