Prospero Teaching is actively seeking a dynamic and dedicated full-time Cover Coordinator to lead classrooms and organise any sickness cover for a Secondary School in Liverpool. This role is temporary to permanent, offering an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about education to make a lasting impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Organise cover for any absence across the school.
- Lead and manage classrooms during teacher absence.
- Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans effectively.
- Maintain a positive and conducive learning environment.
- Uphold good order and discipline within the classroom.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Cover Supervisor.
- Open to applications from Early Career Teachers (ECTs), Graduates, and experienced Class Leaders.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to adapt to various subjects and year groups.
- Hold Right to Work in the UK.
- Possess an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to initiate a new application.
- Provide two professional child-related references.
