The Role:
As a Cover Supervisor, you'll play a pivotal role in maintaining the continuity of learning when our teachers are unavailable. Your responsibilities will include:
- Supervising and engaging students in their learning
- Delivering pre-prepared lessons and maintaining a positive learning environment
- Managing classroom behavior and ensuring a safe and respectful atmosphere
- Supporting the educational progress of our students
- The organisation of cover work for absent teachers. This will include receiving sick calls from teachers and communicating with outside agencies to arrange supply teachers
- A passion for education and a desire to inspire students
- Basic IT, numeracy, language and literacy skills
- Flexibility to adapt to various subjects and age groups
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- A positive and patient attitude
