Step Teachers are working with a school that are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable Behaviour Cover Supervisor to join their team and contribute to the positive and inclusive learning environment in their school. The Behaviour Cover Supervisor will play a vital role in maintaining a safe and supportive atmosphere for students, ensuring the continuation of effective behaviour management strategies in the absence of the regular classroom teacher. - Implement pre-established behaviour management plans in the absence of the regular classroom teacher.
- Provide a supportive and structured environment for students to continue their learning during the teacher's absence.
- Effectively manage and address any behavioural challenges that may arise.
- Foster positive relationships with students, promoting a respectful and inclusive atmosphere.
- Follow school policies and procedures regarding behaviour management and student discipline.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- Previous experience as a Cover Supervisor working with students in an educational setting, preferably in a behaviour support role.
- Strong understanding of behaviour management strategies and positive behaviour support.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations.
- Flexibility and adaptability to different classroom environments.
- Commitment to the well-being and success of all students.
