TeacherActive is currently seeking enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to work in both primary and secondary settings in Barnstaple. Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise classes across primary and secondary schools in the absence of the regular teacher.
• Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and ensure that students remain on task.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a positive learning environment.
• Provide support and guidance to students as needed.
• Follow school policies and procedures at all times.

Requirements:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Confidence and the ability to engage with students of varying ages and abilities.
• Flexibility and adaptability to work in different school settings.
• Previous experience working with children or young people (desirable but not essential).
• Ability to manage classroom behaviour effectively.
• Valid DBS check (or willing to undergo one).
