We are seeking two friendly and enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to work full time or part time (covering the hours of 8am – 4pm, Monday to Friday) to provide a cover service for absent teachers. This would involve supervising classes/groups of students in lessons, tutoring small groups of students, carrying out additional learning interventions, and potentially online learning. We welcome applicants for this role who are educated to at least A Level standard, but ideally with a degree, possess excellent interpersonal skills and are confident working with young people. You must be able to build great relationships with students and staff, be calm and controlled, and be able to follow our behaviour and reward systems. You will be working within a busy school environment and will need to have high expectations of managing behaviour, alongside empathy, flexibility and high resilience. This post is ideally suited to someone with experience as a Cover Supervisor/ teacher, or alternatively to someone who is considering teaching as a career and is a confident and quick learner.
