A school in Seahaven is seeking a dedicated Cover Teacher to join our dynamic team on a part-time, temporary basis. Responsibilities: Adaptability: Step in as a cover teacher for various classes in Seahaven, providing continuity in the absence of regular teachers. Effective Classroom Management: Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment, ensuring students remain engaged and on track with their studies. Deliver Pre-Set Lessons: Follow lesson plans and curriculum guidelines provided by regular teachers to deliver effective and engaging lessons in Seahaven. Build Positive Relationships: Establish positive relationships with students and staff, contributing to a supportive educational community. Communication: Keep clear communication with the school administration regarding lesson progress, student behaviour, and any noteworthy occurrences during the cover period. Requirements: Teaching Qualifications: Hold a teaching qualification and relevant certifications. Adaptability: Be flexible and able to adapt to different subjects and age groups in Eastbourne. Effective Communication: Demonstrate strong communication skills, both with students and colleagues. Classroom Management Skills: Exhibit effective classroom management skills to maintain a positive learning environment. Availability: Be available for part-time, temporary assignments in Eastbourne as needed.
