Dunbar Education is searching for a committed Cover Supervisor to work with us on a flexible day-to-day supply basis in the Shrewbury area, across a wide range of schools local to you. This offers an excellent chance to assist in students' learning and growth within a dynamic and fulfilling setting.

In your role as a Cover Supervisor, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the continuity of education when teachers are absent.

Your Responsibilities:

• Supervising classes and ensuring students remain on task with the work set by the absent teacher.
• Managing classroom behavior and maintaining a positive learning environment.
• Providing support and guidance to students as needed.
• Upholding the school's policies and procedures.

Requirements for this role include:

• Degree level qualification
• Strong subject knowledge in the specialism you will be teaching
• Experience working with secondary school students is advantageous.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage classroom behaviour effectively.
• Flexible and adaptable to changing situations.
• A positive attitude and a commitment to supporting student learning.
