Creative Artworker In-House Production

£27,500 up to £37,400* per annum- This isn’t making a change today. This is making an impact tomorrow.

We are looking for a Creative Artworker to join our very successful In-House Production team. Working within a fast paced retail environment the team are responsible for designing our weekly in store leaflets, POS, Press and Local Store Marketing activity. This team is also responsible for producing and maintaining the digital leaflet that is hosted on our website & app as well as our instore digital signage.

You’ll be a valued and integrated member of the creative production team, responsible for creating a range of high quality digital and print-ready artwork with content including Lidl’s weekly offers & promotions, brand campaigns and Lidl Plus activations.

We have moved to a hybrid working model with a recommended 2 days in the office per week for appropriate Head Office and Regional roles, empowering our teams to choose how and where they work best. What you'll do

•    Design high-quality print-based artwork within set templates and guidelines for channels including the weekly leaflet, static in-store posters, national press and our local store marketing collateral 
•    Design the digital leaflet pages and other digital marketing assets within set templates and guidelines in line with our weekly content strategy
•    Profiling and supplying high-resolution, print-ready artwork files.
•    Apply your high attention to detail across product details including prices, descriptions and terms & conditions 
•    Manage the sign off process with relevant stakeholders ensuring artwork is delivered within deadlines and to a high degree of accuracy
•    Support our online team with additional artworking responsibilities when required
•    Manage the asset collection and integration into artwork
•    Acting as brand guardian and ensuring that the Lidl corporate style guide is adhered to
•    Work collaboratively with the creative artworking team producing outstanding designs and marketing
•    Work to tight daily and weekly internal and external planning and print deadlines
•    Constantly looking for opportunities to improve ways of working and communication between internal departments
 

What you'll need

•    A relevant design based degree or minimum 2 years’ artworker experience is essential
•    In depth knowledge of Adobe CC InDesign in a Mac Environment
•    Previous experience preparing items for print 
•    Adobe After Effects skills are beneficial
•    A meticulous attention to detail with high levels of accuracy
•    The ability to work well in a team as well as individually
•    Strong communication skills both written and verbal 
•    A proactive and self motivated approach with an eagerness to learn and develop
•    The ability to multitask and manage your own workload
