For over 20 years Revival Vintage have offered authentic mid-century clothing and accessories that our customers feel proud to wear. We sell true vintage items as well as designing and producing our own 1940s and 50s replica pieces. Loved by vintage clothing and fashion enthusiasts plus favoured by the costume departments of TV, theatre and movie companies worldwide. You would be joining our team at an exciting time as we relocate to characterful new premises in Huddersfield.

Who is this role for?

We are looking for an articulate individual with creative writing skills. The ideal person will have extensive experience of listing men and womenswear to a website database or selling platform. A competent photographer and image editor with a good understanding of mid century vintage fashion are also essential.

Key duties:

PREPARATION OF STOCK

Checking deliveries – feedback discrepancies to suppliers.

Book Into the system usually via a purchase order.

PRODUCT PHOTOGRAPHY & VIDEO

Optimum images to best advertise our products. Sharp, good colour match.

EDITING IMAGES

For website & other channels

Optimise remove backgrounds, edit images.

LISTING ITEMS - DATABASE

Add to Linnworks in an accurate, informative yet timely manner.

Accurate measurements. Optimised fully. Live across all channels.

Completed stock displayed or stored in the correct place, tagged and sized.

CROSS CHANNEL & UPSELLING

Bundles added to all garments.

FRONT END CHECKS

Ensure all categories are neat and in the best sequence, seasonal & new items moved up.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES

Depending on the successful applicants experience this might include occasional marketing tasks, help on photography shoots or blog writing. We aim to make all our jobs varied and rewarding.

Experience:

• Excellent written skills, a flair in creative writing, articulate.
• Computer literate must be used to using databases and photoshop.
• Good photography and video skills.
• Interest in fashion, clothing history, garment construction or vintage clothing.
• Attention to detail to see a job through to the end with no errors.
• Good communicator, will be working closely with other team members

This is an entry position that could lead to progression into a more senior role within this progressive independent business. Although we are advertising a part time role across 3-4 days, full time would be possible for the right person joining our team.

Pay: £12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 21 – 28 per week
