Job Type - Full-time, permanent

Salary - £28,000 - £35,000

IPS Finance are recruiting for an experienced Credit Control Team Leader to join a growing company whose offices are based in Leeds.

This role offers the opportunity to oversee and lead a team of Credit Controllers by driving excellence in credit management practices within a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Credit Management:

Oversee the end-to-end credit management process, including assessing credit risk, establishing credit limits, and monitoring customer accounts.

• Team Leadership:

Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of Credit Control professionals to achieve departmental goals and objectives.

• Performance Management:

Set performance targets and KPIs for the team, regularly monitoring progress and providing feedback to ensure high performance and productivity.

• Debt Collection:

Coordinate and support team members in the collection of outstanding debts through effective negotiation and communication with debtors.

• Process Improvement:

Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency enhancements within the Credit Control function, implementing best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.

Experience & Skills

• Previous experience managing or leading a team.
• Proven experience in Credit Control or related roles, with a strong understanding of credit management principles and practices.
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
• Great communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with team members and stakeholders at all levels.
