Job role: Credit Controller
Location; Southampton
Money: £27,000 per year
Hours: 8am-5pm
Days: Monday-Friday
Credit Controller responsibilities:
Ensure timely payment of customer accounts and actively pursue overdue debts.
Communicate with customers to reconcile payments due with their accounts and ensure timely receipt of payments.
Review accounts on the credit chase letter report, contacting customers by phone to understand reasons for delayed payments.
Provide administrative support to the Sales Ledger team.
Develop a comprehensive understanding of the customer base and establish rapport with accounts contacts.
Review credit limits as prompted by Point of Sale to assess the possibility of extending further credit within authorised limits.
Credit Controller requirements:
Preferably, prior experience in a similar role.
Familiarity with accounting systems, preferably Autoline.
Proficient in Excel and Word.
Strong communication skills.
Attention to detail.
