CREDIT CONTROLLER – County Antrim
SALARY: £12.82 an hour
EMPLOYMENT: Temporary, full-time opportunity
Reed Accountancy is partnered with a highly reputable and growing client in County Antrim in the appointment of an experienced and immediately available Credit Controller.
This established company are urgently recruiting for this position to be filled on a full-time, temporary basis.
It is essential that you have demonstrable experience as a Credit Controller in a fast-paced office environment. The successful candidate would be a part of an exceptional team and would be required to apply a resilient and hard-working attitude.
Key responsibilities include:
- Ensure customers make payment within the agreed payment terms.
- Reviewing orders on hold, customer a/c queries and complaints in a courteous manner
- Checking, approving, or rejecting new account applications as per company procedures.
- Ensuring monthly statements, first letters and final demands are printed, checked, and sent out within the agreed timescale.
- Setting accounts up for direct debit and running the direct debits monthly on the dates set by management.
- Dealing with customers professionally by phone, letter, and email.
- Taking card payments over the phone daily
- Maintain accurate records.
- Assisting with the month end reports
What you’ll need to succeed!
- Excellent communications skills at all levels both written and verbal.
- Good keyboard skills and competence of Word, Excel, and Outlook
- High standard of numeracy, accuracy, and attention to detail
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Ability to recognise potential risks to the firm that should be escalated.
- A proven track record in achieving credit control collection targets.
- Confident call handler
- Knowledge of Credit Law
