Job Role: Credit controller 
Salary: £27k-£28k 
Location: Leicester 
Hours: Monday-Friday

My Client based in Leicester are currently looking for a experienced Credit Controller to join their team on a full time basis. 

Responsibilities 

• Daily recording and posting of Bacs to Sales Ledger (cash and cheques as necessary)
• Banking Cash and Cheques when required and monthly Road Tax payments at the Post office as a Credit Controller 
• Accurate production from aged debtor of excel report for recording details of customer calls etc.
• Daily chase calls, emails and letters to customers ensuring timely payments are made
• Attending Monthly Credit meetings
• Creating lapsed (12 months) customer report/lapsed letters to customers
• Logging of customer queries to the query report and emailing details to Branch Manager as a Credit Controller 
• Credit checking and referring specific limit requests to Senior Management
• Opening of authorised new accounts, welcome letter to customer and scanning of documents
• Account monitoring – review of limits on going

Requirements 

• 5 Years Experience as a Credit Controller (Essential)
• Institute of Credit Management Qualification (Ideal)

Personal Skills

• As a Credit Controller you have to have the Ability to communicate with Directors, Internal and External customers at all levels
• Must have good personal skills, be a team player.
• Must have the ability to form relationships with customers
• Experienced in dealing with difficult customers in a professional manner. with a firm but fair approach
• Must be dedicated and hard working as a Credit Controller 

An excellent attendance and time keeping record is expected
