Description of the role:
- Proactively contacting customers to secure payments within agreed credit terms
- Minimising aged debt
- Dealing with weekly and monthly invoices and handling invoice queries
- Conducting credit checks and setting up new accounts
- Managing direct debits and credit card payments
- Liaising with multiple departments to achieve customer satisfaction.
- Assisting in month-end reporting
- Advancing accounts to debt recovery as required.
About you:
- Experience in Credit Control or a similar role.
- Ability to thrive under tight deadlines and deliver consistent results.
- Communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in Excel, including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables.
- Background in inhouse credit systems
