Finance Assistant/ Credit Control

Max Energy Ltd are looking to recruit an experienced Finance Assistant to become a key member of their team, on a full-time permanent basis at their Leicester head office. Reporting to the Finance Manager your duties will be varied to cover both Sales Ledger and Purchase Ledger you will ideally have previous experience in a similar role.

• Credit control – liaising with House Builders to resolve outstanding debt queries.
• Raise sales invoices and applications for payment to e-mail/post monthly to relevant departments/Quantity Surveyors
• Respond to customer invoice queries and solve in an efficient manner.
• Allocate cash received into the bank on a daily basis to keep customer accounts up to date.
• Reconcile bank statements to postings on the ledger.
• Assist with purchase ledger duties to cover annual leave and busy periods.
• Ensure that all records are maintained neatly, and that filing is kept up to date.
• Support the management team with the preparation of reports such as aged debt, retention, VAT submission etc.
• Franking of post and post runs.
• Answer phone calls, redirect callers to the relevant departments and take credit card payments from customers.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: Up to £24,000.00 per year
